These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NeXusTC website, mobile applications, support channels, and related public pages operated by NeXusTC LLC (“NeXusTC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the website, mobile applications, or official support channels, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. About NeXusTC

NeXusTC LLC develops mobile applications, digital tools, and support systems for interactive digital projects.

Information on this website is provided for general informational, support, and product communication purposes. Product names, features, release timelines, availability, and support options may change over time.

2. Use of the Website, Apps, and Support Channels

You may use the website, apps, and official support channels only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • misuse, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or services;
  • use automated scraping, spam, or abusive behavior against the site;
  • submit malware, harmful files, fraudulent requests, or misleading information;
  • use the website, apps, or support channels to violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

3. Products and Applications

This website may describe NeXusTC software, mobile applications, digital tools, and related support resources.

NeXusTC VN Player is a mobile app project focused on organizing and running compatible user-provided Ren’Py visual novel projects on Android.

Unless clearly stated otherwise:

  • NeXusTC VN Player does not provide, sell, host, or distribute third-party visual novel content.
  • Users are responsible for the files and projects they choose to use with the app.
  • Users must have the legal right to use any project files, assets, scripts, media, or content they load into the app.
  • The app must not be used to bypass DRM, access controls, license restrictions, copyright protections, or distribution rules.
  • Compatibility with any specific project is not guaranteed.

4. User-Provided Files and Content

If you use a NeXusTC app with files, projects, scripts, images, audio, video, or other content that you provide, you remain responsible for that content.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to use any content you load, import, test, or reference.

NeXusTC does not claim ownership of user-provided project files. However, if you send screenshots, logs, project details, or other materials to us for support, you give us permission to review and use those materials only as needed to provide support, troubleshoot issues, improve documentation, or investigate technical problems.

Please do not send passwords, payment information, government identification documents, private keys, or other highly sensitive personal information through email, Discord, or support tickets unless specifically requested through a secure official process.

5. Ren’Py Compatibility Notice

Ren’Py is a free, open-source visual novel engine. NeXusTC VN Player is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Ren’Py project.

References to Ren’Py are used only to describe compatibility with projects created using the Ren’Py engine.

All project content remains the property of its respective creators, owners, and rights holders.

6. Open-Source Notices

Some NeXusTC apps may use or interact with open-source software. Any required open-source notices, license references, or attribution information may be provided within the app, documentation, store listing, or related project files.

7. App Stores and Third-Party Platforms

If a NeXusTC app is made available through Google Play or another app store, downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, updates, device compatibility, and store availability may also be subject to the terms and policies of that platform.

NeXusTC does not control third-party platforms such as Google Play, Discord, GitHub, Cloudflare, or other external services linked from this website.

Links to third-party services are provided for convenience and support purposes. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, uptime, content, or actions.

8. Purchases and Subscriptions

If a NeXusTC app offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, those transactions may be processed through Google Play Billing or another applicable app store payment system.

Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, purchase management, and subscription status may be subject to the terms and policies of the platform where the purchase was made.

NeXusTC does not receive or store full credit card numbers or full payment credentials.

9. Support and Discord Community

NeXusTC may provide support through email, Discord, documentation, or other official channels.

Support is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee response times, issue resolution, compatibility with every device, or support for modified, corrupted, unsafe, or unauthorized project files.

If you join an official NeXusTC Discord server or community space, you must follow the server rules and keep discussions respectful, lawful, and appropriate for a clean app-support environment.

We may remove users from support spaces if they spam, harass others, share illegal content, attempt to distribute infringing files, post harmful links, or violate community rules.

10. Intellectual Property

The NeXusTC name, logo, website design, written content, branding, and original materials are owned by NeXusTC LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, impersonate, or use NeXusTC branding in a misleading way without written permission.

Third-party names, software, engines, trademarks, logos, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Privacy

Your use of this website and any NeXusTC app is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, and how you can contact us about privacy-related questions.

If a NeXusTC app is published on Google Play, the app’s privacy practices and Google Play Data Safety disclosures must reflect the app’s actual behavior, permissions, and third-party SDKs.

12. Children

The website and NeXusTC apps are not directed to children under 13. Users under 13 should not use the website, apps, or support channels without permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

13. Disclaimer

This website and related information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeXusTC LLC makes no warranties that:

  • the website or apps will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • every app feature will work on every device;
  • every user-provided project will be compatible;
  • support will resolve every issue;
  • information on the website will always be complete, current, or free of mistakes.

You are responsible for backing up your own files, projects, saves, and data.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeXusTC LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the website, apps, support channels, third-party services, or user-provided project files.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Changes to the Website, Apps, and Terms

We may update this website, product information, support options, policies, or these Terms from time to time.

When we update these Terms, we may revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the website, apps, or official support channels after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

This does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply in your location.
